Have you ever been invited to "coffee?"   I've heard it said that you don't invite someone to coffee solely to enjoy coffee together - although I happen to REALLY enjoy coffee.  
You invite someone to coffee for conversation.  You want to share life together, to get to know each other better.  

Well, we are personally inviting you to coffee.  
We want to share life with you!  We want to get to know you better.

Maybe you will have a cup of coffee while you read our blog, maybe you won't, but we hope you will pull up a chair and stay for a while.

"Obedience"

"Why is it so hard to be obedient? 
When I was a child, it was easier.  I was either obedient or I would be in trouble.  Something was either right or it was wrong.  Not much gray area there.  But as I got older, the temptations were stronger, the gray area between right and wrong got bigger and obedience was a little bit tougher.  I wonder why ...  "
