1. "LINENS DRIVE" to benefit the residents of Bethel Colony in New Orleans - a women's renewal center.

We are collecting new, white, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and twin sheet sets. Drop off at Northshore Church (310 Kensington Blvd) on Mondays 9am-3pm, or 6:30p-8pm. If you cannot drop off, please email so we can coordinate a pick-up. For each donation, you receive an entry.
2. "SUMMER LOVIN" Artistic Expressions Contest
July 18 - August 1 & 8 (arts & crafts winner on Aug 1, photography winner on Aug 8)
Show us what Summer means to you. The contest will have 3 categories: Photography, Crafts, Art. EMAIL us your ORIGINAL photography, your Summer Crafts, and any other Art project (painting, drawing, mixed media) you have created. You can enter more than one category, and you can enter as many times as you would like within each category. Each submission gets an entry into the drawings for prizes.
Entries MUST BE ORIGINAL WORKS OF ART!!! and MUST include first and last name, email address, and phone number.
We will upload all the works sent to us to our Facebook page where EVERYONE can vote for the winners. You can send all your friends there to vote, too, but the pix will be listed anonymously, so make sure to tell them which pix to vote for!!
